In response to sexual and domestic violence, Russell House services include:
SHELTER
If you are feeling unsafe due to violence or the threat of violence from a partner, we may be able to provide you with a safe place to stay.
TRANSPORTATION
Need help getting to court, job interviews, or other appointments? We may be able to help you in getting to where you need to go.
HOSPITAL ADVOCACY
If you go to the hospital after a sexual assault or domestic violence incident, you can have an advocate present. Contact us 24/7 to send an advocate. The hospitals we cover are: Phelps Health, Salem Memorial District Hospital, and Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital
COUNSELING AND
SUPPORT GROUPS
If you are interested in counseling, we may be able to connect you to free services or get you in support groups with other survivors going through similar experiences.
CRISIS HELP &
SAFETY PLANNING
Our trained staff
can chat with you about accessing local resources, increasing your safety, and your rights as a survivor.
COURT/LEGAL
ADVOCACY
We can help you file an Ex-Parte, explain the criminal justice process, provide emotional support in court, update you on your ongoing cases, etc.
